Many companies, governments, and individuals are beginning to take action as they become aware of environmental issues.
We are beginning to move away from a linear economy – where resources and energy are used in abundance, produced, and ultimately destroyed – to a circular economy where goods, raw materials and products are continually reused for new purposes.
As the transition to a circular economy is called for on a global level, FabCafe, a hub for the world‘s creative community, and Loftwork, a creative company in Asia, are working with world leaders, companies, and designers to think about how to redesign a new society.
crQlr will provide opportunities forcontinuing encounters and innovation through four initiatives: online awards, events, hackathons, and projects. We believe that this community-centered design will serve as a means for collecting educated opinions. and for creating solutions to complex problems.
The crQlr Awards are for projects that are helping to design the circular economy.
This year we received a massive 204 entries from companies,
startups and designers in 24 countries worldwide.
After a rigorous review by 19 judges, 63 projects were chosen for an award.
Let’s meet this year’s winners.
crQlr organizers FabCafe and Loftwork are involved in a range of circular design projects.
