Many companies, governments, and individuals are beginning to take action as they become aware of environmental issues.
We are beginning to move away from a linear economy – where resources and energy are used in abundance, produced, and ultimately destroyed – to a circular economy where goods, raw materials and products are continually reused for new purposes.
As the transition to a circular economy is called for on a global level, FabCafe, a hub for the world‘s creative community, and Loftwork, a creative company in Asia, are working with world leaders, companies, and designers to think about how to redesign a new society.
crQlr will provide opportunities forcontinuing encounters and innovation through four initiatives: online awards, events, hackathons, and projects. We believe that this community-centered design will serve as a means for collecting educated opinions. and for creating solutions to complex problems.
This award will connect the international creators
and professionals currently designing the future with
a jury of sustainability leaders in order to support
the collective creation of the blueprints of a new world.
We welcome projects and ideas from
all the creators who share the crQlr vision!
crQlr organizers FabCafe and Loftwork are involved in a range of circular design projects.
crQlr meetups and designathons are held regularly at FabCafes worldwide.
A real event where you can meet people and activities that are challenging the circular economy, sustainability, and other efforts toward a recycling-oriented society!
